Crime Story
On the 24th of Sept 1988, Myron Stowe went to the victim's residence to speak with the victim's brother about paying Stowe's hospital bill. Approximately seven weeks earlier, the victim's brother had been in a fight with Myron Stowe and broke his jaw. The victim's brother had agreed to help Stowe with his hospital bill. When Stowe got to the victim's residence, he found that the victim's brother was not home and began talking to the victim's mother about the hospital bill. The victim told him that he didn't need to be bothering her about the hospital bill.

Stowe and the victim began arguing and took the argument outside. The argument became heated and words were exchanged. Stowe went to his house, grabbed a butcher knife from the kitchen and returned back to the victim's residence. The victim was lying on a lawn chair behind the house when Stowe approached him. Words were exchanged, and Stowe stabbed him in the back. The victim's mother heard a noise at the back door. When she opened the door, she found her son lying on the ground with a knife in his back. Medic pronounced the victim dead on the scene. He died from a stab wound to the back.

Myron D. Stowe pled guilty to Second-Degree Murder. He was sentenced to serve Life in prison.
