Crime Story
On the 5th of April 1991, Billy Gibson and Vernon Seibles went to the victim's residence with the intention of breaking in because they need the money for cocaine. Once they arrived at the residence, they discovered that the victim was home. Billy Gibson kicked in the front door and both entered the residence. Vernon Seibles began struggling with the victim who had pulled a handgun to defend himself. Seibles gained control over the handgun and fired several shots killing the victim.

Both Billy Gibson and Vernon Seibles pled guilty to Second-Degree Murder. They were sentenced to life in prison.
