Crime Story:
On the evening of the 23rd of November 1992, Adrian Norman, Latimer Pettiford and Terrence Champelle forced entry into a local residence with the intention of committing a robbery.

All of the suspects were armed and had their faces covered with masks. Once inside the residence, they forced the occupants to the floor and robbed them of the belongings and money. They had been informed that there was a safe in the house, so they forced one of the occupants to show them where the safe was located. They took the safe with all its contents. Pettiford confessed that he shot one of the victims in the butt because he wasn't moving fast enough.

The victim died as a result of gunshot wounds to the right thigh, left shoulder, right arm and the back of his head. Pettiford also confessed that he shot another victim in the head as he was exiting the residence. This second victim died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head. Pettiford advised that when he began shooting, Terrence Champelle fired his weapon also. As a result, a third victim was shot in the right ankle and left shoulder, and the fourth victim was shot in the stomach.

Adrian Norman was sentenced to serve 42 yrs in prison for two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Latimer Pettiford was sentenced to serve life in prison for second-degree murder.

Terrence Champelle was sentenced to serve life in prison for second-degree murder.
