Crime Story:
Seventeen year old Paicos Lucas was a heavy drug user.  He frequently robbed people to support his drug habit.  After getting high on crack/cocaine, Lucas observed the victim walking down the street wearing a gold necklace.  He approached the victim, pointed a handgun at him and demanded the necklace.  The victim began to run.  Lucas chased the victim and shot him in the back four times.  When the victim fell, Lucas stole his necklace and left him to die.  The victim died as a results of the gunshot wounds.

Lucas was convicted of Second Degree Murder and was sentenced to 50 years in prison.
