Crime Story
On October 17, 1991 at 10:30 PM Larry Jerome Davis and Arthur Lee Jordan set out to rob the "Quick-N-EZ" located at 2716 Old Steele Creek Road. Both entered the convenience store and approached the clerk. Jordan demanded money from the clerk who opened the register. As Davis reached for the cash, the clerk began to reach below the counter for a gun. Jordan then shot the clerk at close range and both suspects fled from the store. The clerk died at the scene.

Both Davis and Jordan were arrested and both confessed to the robbery and murder. Davis received 40 years in prison.
