Crime Story:
On the 21st of April 1994, Antoine Johnson walked up to the victims with the intention of robbing them. Johnson pulled out a pistol and told them to give it up. One of the victims grabbed the pistol with both hands and struggled with Johnson over the pistol. Johnson lowered the pistol to the victim's chest and pulled the trigger.
 
The other victim immediately ran to get away from the gunman. Johnson chased after the other victim and fired a shot at him. The victim fell to the ground, having been struck in the leg. Johnson ran up to him and put the pistol to his head. Johnson intended on killing him so as not to leave any witnesses. When Johnson pulled the trigger, the pistol jammed. As Johnson attempted to clear the pistol, the victim ran from him. Johnson fired another shot at the victim but missed him. The victim escaped. He was transported to the hospital. The first victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
 
Antoine Johnson plead guilty to Second-Degree Murder and ADWISI. He was sentenced to serve 50 years in prison for Second-Degree Murder and 10 years for ADWISI. These sentences are consecutive to one another.
