Crime Story
On the night of 27 July '80, the victim was sitting on the front steps to a friend's residence when Fredrick Howard and another subject approached him with guns in their hand. They began to argue with the victim, then suddenly began shooting at him.

The victim ran into the residence to get away from them. Fredrick and the other subject continued to shot at him as he ran into the residence. The victim collapsed inside the residence from a bullet wound to his back. He was pronounced dead by Emergency Room staff at the hospital.

A jury found Fredrick Howard guilty of First-Degree Murder. He was sentenced to LIFE in prison.
