Crime Story
On the 24th of July 1994, the victim was involved in an illegal drug transaction with Ronald Hoover and a co-defendant at a local car wash. The transaction went bad and the victim started his vehicle to drive out of the area. Hoover fired into the vehicle as it began to move. Hoover handed the gun off to the co-defendant. 

The co-defendant fired a shot into the vehicle. When the vehicle stopped, Hoover ran up to the vehicle and grabbed the marijuana. Hoover and the co-defendant left the area and later split the marijuana. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. He died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head. 

Ronald Hoover pled guilty to second-degree murder. He was sentenced to serve 35 years in prison.
