Crime Story
In May of 1985 the victim, who was six years old at the time, went to her mother and told her that Harry Hicks had been sexually molesting her since March of that year. Hicks was her mother's boyfriend at the time of the incident and the victim would stay with him when her mother had to go out in the evenings.

Hicks pled guilty to First Degree Rape and was sentenced to life in prison. Hicks had been charged in 1976 with indecent liberties involving a different victim and pled to those charges but only received 2 years, suspended sentence, and was placed on probation for 5 years.  In 1963 he was charged with assault on a female and served 2 years in the DOC.
