Crime Story
On May 7, 1993 Aarin Garvin, (14 years of age) went to 5924 Fairmarket Place (Fairmarket Apartment's Clubhouse) for a birthday party that was being held there.  While at the party a fight broke out involving several different individuals who had not been invited.  The fight started inside the clubhouse when four male subjects rush toward John Derrick Bost, Aarin Garvin's friend.  John Bost pulled out a sawed off shotgun and the individuals fought over the gun.  The gun was eventually taken from John Bost and he fled outside the clubhouse.

The fight continued outside and several eyewitnesses observed Aarin Garvin chase after several subjects with a a .32 revolver.  Aarin Garvin chased down Victim #1 and Victim #2 shooting both victims in the back and head.  Victim #1 died from the gunshot wounds at the scene.  Victim #2 survived from his wounds. 

Aarin Garvin pled to second degree murder and was sentenced to Life for the murder of Victim #1.  He pled to Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill for the shooting of Victim #2 and was sentenced to 10 years that was to run concurrently with the Life sentence.
