Crime Story
On October 6, 1992, William Dunlap entered a residence on Moretz Ave. to commit armed robbery. he told everyone inside the residence to take their clothes off, remove their wallets and anything else inside their pockets. Dunlap shot on of the subjects after some words are exchanged. he took their clothes, wallets and other items with him.

On October 7th, Dunlap approached two subjects in the 2600 block of West Trade Street with the intent to rob them. When the victim tried to overpower him and take the gun from him, Dunlap shot him twice in the stomach. As the victim ran to get away, Dunlap shot him in the back and side. Dunlap walked up to him and fired his last shot at the victim's head but missed. The victim survived to testify at the trial.

A jury found William Dunlap guilty of three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He was sentence to serve 40 years for the three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and 10 years for assault with a deadly weapon.
