Crime Story
On the 11th of May 1992, the victim was abducted at gunpoint by Alfonzo Benson, Fernando Mason and Shelton Crocket. They took her to a secluded area were all three subjects forcibly raped her. Afterwards, they drove back behind some apartments on North Stream Drive. Benson pulled her out of the vehicle by her hair and threw her to the ground.

All three subjects began to beat and kick her in the face. Benson dragged her to the middle of the street and shot her in the chest and stomach. She was found dead in the street. All three subjects left in her vehicle. They drove to a local Waffle House and had breakfast. Fernando Mason plead guilty to second-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping. He was sentenced to serve life in prison.

Alfonzo Benson plead guilty to second-degree murder, second-degree rape, and first-degree kidnapping. He was sentenced to life in prison.

Shelton Crocket plead guilty to second-degree murder. He was sentenced to life in prison.
