Crime Story:
On March 2, 1986 Fredrick Camacho broke into the hotel room on Rhonda Leonard Price and hid in a closet waiting for her to return. Ms. price, or "Sue" as her friends called her, had signed a warrant on Camacho a few days earlier because he hit her in the head with a hammer and caused serious harm. He was very angry over the warrant and was out for revenge. They had been in an on-again-off-again relationship, and she had begun to see other people. Camacho was obsessed with her.

When Sue returned to her hotel room in the early morning hours on March 2, she had a male friend with her. As they came into the room Camacho jumped from the closet and began to strike Sue in the head with a hammer he had brought with him. He beat her nonstop until she was unconscious and in his words he was "exhausted".

When the police arrived on the scene he was still here with the hammer. Camacho was convicted of First Degree Murder and sentenced to death however the death sentence was appealed and he was sentenced to LIFE for Second Degree Murder.
