Crime Story
On August 16, 1986, Frederick Bennett knocked on the door of 916 Brookrun Drive, Apt. #1403 in Charlotte, NC.  When the victim came to the door, Bennett told the victim he was the maintenance man there to fix the garbage disposal, dishwasher. Once the victim let Bennett inside he raped and strangled the victim to death.

Frederick Bennett was arrested and charged with the victim's rape and murder in 1997 and he pled guilty to Second Degree Murder and Second Degree Rape.

Bennett Received a sentence of 50 years for the Rape and Murder.
