Crime Story
On the 28th of December 1991, Delaney Bell's mother got into a fight with her boyfriend and called her son. She told him that her boyfriend had assaulted her. Delaney and his friend, Frederick Gales, rushed to her aid with loaded pistols in hand. After finding his mother, Delaney and Frederick went to the home of his mother's boyfriend. They then fired shots into the house at random. The victim, an innocent bystander, was shot and died at the scene. Police searched for Delaney and Frederick for a year before taking them into custody for the murder.

Delaney Bell and Frederick Gales plead guilty to second-degree murder. Delaney was sentenced to serve thirty-three years for second-degree murder and seven years for discharging firearm into occupied property.
