Crime Story:
On February 24, 1994, an unidentified black mail in a red vehicle arrived at the KFC located at 5920 South Boulevard with Larry Alexander as a passenger. Alexander, a former employee of KFC, approached an employee at the front door and asked about another employee who was not working at the time. When the employee turned his back to go into the restaurant, Alexander followed him into the restaurant.

Alexander told the employee he had some uniforms to return. The victim, a shift supervisor was removing money from the front cashier register and she walked past Alexander once she had finished collecting the money. The victim then went to the office where the safe is located and Alexander followed her into the office. When the victim opened the safe, Alexander placed an object to her back and demanded money from the safe. Once Alexander had the money, he hold the victim he had someone with him and if she pushed the alarm, this person would shoot her. Alexander then ran out of the rear door of the restaurant with an undetermined amount of money.

Alexander was known by the victim and the employee because he had worked at the restaurant. Alexander was arrested on March 8, 1994 and confessed to committing the RWDW. Alexander pled guilty and received 40 years in prison.
