2008 START! CHARLOTTE HEART WALK

Routes 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 11, 13, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, 25, 26, 34 & 77x

The 2008 Start! Charlotte Heart Walk will take place in the uptown area and Wesley Heights neighborhood on Saturday September 20, 2008 from 6:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The walk will proceed west on Trade Street from Tryon Street, turn left on Cedar Street, right on 4th Street, left on Walnut Avenue, left on Litaker Avenue, left on Summit Avenue, right on Greenleaf Avenue, left on Cedar, right on 4th, and left on Tryon back to Trade. The following detours will be in effect:


Routes 11, 13, 21, 22 & 26
From CTC:  Outbound buses will follow regular routes to 4th & College Streets, turn right on College St., and left on 6th Street. Routes 11 & 22 will turn right on Tryon St., and resume the regular routes. Routes 13, 21 & 26 will turn right on Graham and resume the regular routes.
To CTC:  Inbound buses for routes 11 & 22  will follow regular routes to Church and 5th Streets. Inbound buses for routes 13, 21 & 26 will follow regular routes to Graham & 5th Streets. All routes will turn left on 5th, right on Caldwell St. and right on 4th to the CTC.


Route 2
From CTC: Outbound buses for Route 2 will circle the CTC by turning right on College, Trade & Brevard Streets, then turn right on Stonewall St., left on Tryon St., Right on Morehead Street and resume the regular route.
To CTC: Inbound buses will use the regular route to Morehead & Mint Streets, Continue on Morehead, merge onto I-277 North, exit onto College Street and resume the regular route.


Routes 16, 18 & 19
From CTC:  Outbound buses for routes 16, 18 & 19 will circle the CTC by turning right on College, Trade and Brevard Streets.  Route 18 will turn left on Stonewall and resume the regular route. Routes 16 & 19 will turn right on Stonewall, left on Tryon St. and resume the regular routes.
To CTC:  Inbound buses for Route 18 will follow the regular route to Stonewall & College Streets, turn right on College and resume the regular route. Routes 16 & 19 will use the regular routes.


Routes 1, 7, 8 & 34
From CTC:  Outbound buses will use regular routes to  College Street, turn right on College, left on 6th Street and merge from 6th onto 5th Street. Route 1 will resume the regular route. Routes 7, 8 & 34 will turn left on Sycamore and right on Trade. Route 7 will resume the regular route. Routes 8 & 34 will turn left on Tuckaseegee Road, right on Walnut Avenue and resume the regular routes.
To CTC: Route 1 will follow regular route approaching 5th & Cedar Streets, continue on 5th, turn right on Caldwell and right on 4th to the CTC. Routes 7, 8 & 34 will follow regular routes approaching Sycamore Street. Route 7 will turn left from Trade St. onto Sycamore. Routes 8 & 34 will turn left from 4th St. onto Sycamore. All three routes will turn right on 5th St., right on Caldwell and right on 4th to the CTC.


Routes 5 & 25
From CTC:  Outbound buses for Route 5 will circle the CTC by turning right on College, Trade and Brevard Streets. Both routes will turn right on Stonewall St., left on Mint St. and resume the regular routes.
To CTC:  Inbound buses will follow regular routes to Mint and 3rd Streets, turn right on 3rd, left on College, right on Trade and resume the regular routes.


Route 77X
From CTC:  Outbound buses will turn right on College St., left on 6th St., merge onto 5th St., turn left on Irwin Ave., right on Trade St. and resume the regular route.
To CTC:  Inbound buses will use the regular route to Trade & Sycamore Streets, turn left on Sycamore, right on 5th St., right on Caldwell St. and right on 4th to the CTC.
