Trade Street & Matthews / Mint Hill Road Closures

Route 27

On Saturday, September 5, 2009 and Monday, September 7, 2009 Trade Street and Matthews / Mint Hill Road in Matthews will close to accommodate the Matthews Alive Festival. The hours of closure are 7:45 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday. The following detours will be in effect:

Route 27 from Charlotte Transportation Center:
Outbound buses will use the regular route to Monroe Rd. & Matthews Township Pkwy., turn left on Matthews Township Pkwy., turn right on Independence Point Pkwy., and left into the Target parking lot to end the route.

Route 27 to Charlotte Transportation Center:
Inbound buses will depart form the Target parking lot by turning right on Independence Point Pkwy., left on Matthews Township Pkwy., right on Monroe Rd. and resume the regular route.
