Stonewall Street Closure

Routes 2 & 18

On Friday, August 15, 2008 Stonewall Street between College & Tryon Streets will close at 6:00 p.m. and will reopen by 6:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2008. The closure is necessary to accommodate water and sewer construction for the Afro-American Cultural Center.

CATS customers wishing to board or alight buses within the affected area should do so along the regular routes at the following locations:

Route 2 Outbound from Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC):
Along S. Tryon Street before Stonewall Street.

Route 2 Inbound to CTC:
Along Morehead Street before Mint Street.

Route 18 Outbound from CTC:
Along Church Street before Stonewall Street.

Route 18 Inbound to CTC:
Along Stonewall Street before College Street.
