Ritz Carlton Tower Crane Removal

On Friday, August 15, 2008 East Trade Street between College & Brevard Streets will close at 6:00 p.m. and will reopen by 5:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2008. The closure is necessary to accommodate the removal of a tower crane from the Ritz Carlton construction site.

CATS customers wishing to board or alight buses within the Uptown area should do so at the Charlotte Transportation Center, located at 310 E. Trade Street.

On Friday afternoon, Gold Rush Red Line riders wishing to access the Charlotte Transportation Center from the Gateway Village and West Trade Street areas should alight at the bus stop in front of the Federal Reserve Building on East Trade Street between Caldwell and Davidson Streets.
