ROUTES 2, 16, 18, 40x, 51x, 64x, 65x & 74x
STONEWALL STREET CLOSURE
From Monday, July 6, 2009 through Friday, July 24, 2009 East Stonewall Street between College & Brevard Streets will be close to accommodate the installation of a 24" water line. The closure will be divided into two phases. The following detours will be in effect:
Phase 1: Monday 7/6/09 at 9:00 a.m. until Thursday 7/9/09 at 9:00 p.m.
Route 18 from Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC): Outbound buses will use the regular route to Stonewall & College Streets, turn left on College, right on MLK Jr. Blvd., right on Brevard St., left on Stonewall and resume the regular route.
Route 18 to CTC: Inbound buses will use the regular route to Stonewall & Caldwell Streets, turn right on Caldwell, left on MLK Jr. Blvd., right on College Street and resume the regular route.
Phase 2: Thursday 7/9/09 at 9:00 p.m. until Friday 7/24/09 at 6:00 a.m.
Route 2 from CTC: Outbound buses will use the regular route to Tryon & Stonewall Streets, continue on Tryon, turn right on Morehead St., left on Mint Street and resume the regular route.
Route 2 to CTC: Inbound buses will use the regular route to Morehead & Mint Streets, continue on Mint, turn right on 3rd St., left on College Street and resume the regular route.
Route 16 to CTC: Inbound buses will use the regular route to Morehead & Mint Streets, continue on Mint, turn right on 3rd St., left on College Street and resume the regular route.
Route 18 from CTC: Outbound buses will use the regular route to Church & 3rd Streets, turn left on 3rd, right on Brevard St., left on Stonewall Street and resume the regular route.
Route 18 to CTC: Inbound buses will use the regular route to Stonewall & Caldwell Streets, turn right on Caldwell, left on MLK Jr. Blvd., right on College Street and resume the regular route.
Express Routes 40x, 51x, 64x, 65x & 74x from Uptown: Outbound buses will use the regular routes to Stonewall & Church Streets, continue on Church to Morehead St., turn right on Morehead, merge onto I-277, exit onto College Street and resume the regular routes.
