TASTE OF CHARLOTTE 2009

ROUTES 2, 5, 16, 18 & 19

Starting on Thursday, June 4th at 2:00 p.m. and continuing through Sunday, June 7th, Routes 2, 5, 16, 18 & 19 will be on detour because of Taste of Charlotte activities.

Outbound bus routes listed above will begin at the Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC) and exit the Uptown area via Brevard Street.  Passengers can board these bus routes at the CTC or at any of the stops on Brevard Street between 4th and Stonewall Streets. Routes 2 & 5 can also be boarded on Stonewall between Brevard & Mint Streets.

Routes 2, 16 and 19 will not operate on Tryon Street between 4th and Carson Streets. Route 5 will not operate on Mint or Poplar between Stonewall & Trade Streets. Routes 18 will not operate on Church Street.

Inbound buses will operate on College Street between Morehead St./I-277 and Trade Street.

Uptown traffic congestion is expected to be heavier than usual.  Your patience is appreciated.
