TASTE OF CHARLOTTE 2009

ROUTES 1, 5, 7, 8, 21, 26, & 34

Starting on Thursday, June 4th at 2:00 p.m. and continuing through Sunday, June 7th, Routes 1, 5, 7, 8, 13, 21, 26 and 34 will be on detour because of Taste of Charlotte activities. 

Outbound buses will begin at the Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC), turn right on College Street and left on 6th Street.  Buses will proceed onto 5th St. to the regular route. (Routes 21 and 26 will turn right on Graham St. to the regular route.) Passengers can board these bus routes at the CTC or at a temporary bus stop located on 6th St. at the Public Library between College and Tryon Streets. 

During Taste of Charlotte outbound trips will not operate on Trade St. between College St, and Johnson & Wales University.

Inbound buses will also be on detour between Trade/Mint and the CTC.

Uptown traffic congestion is expected to be heavier than usual.  Your patience is appreciated.
