SPEED STREET 2009

LYNX BLUE LINE & CHARLOTTE TROLLEY

Riding the LYNX Blue Line is the way to go during Speed Street 2009.  

Starting on Thursday, May 21 and continuing through Saturday, May 23, 2009, the LYNX Blue Line will run a special schedule for Speed Street activities.  On Thursday, May 21st and Friday, May 22nd, service starts at its regular time, and then the trains will operate every ten minutes from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.  On Saturday, May 23rd, the trains will start at their regular time, and then trains will operate every ten minutes from 11:00 a.m. until after midnight.  The last train will depart from the 7th Street Station at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Riders who purchase round-trip tickets or day passes when they make their trip will avoid the lines at ticket vending machines in Uptown when they make their return trip.

Because the LYNX Blue Line will be running more frequently, the Charlotte Trolley will not operate on Saturday, May 23rd, 2009.
