ROUTES 48x, 80x, 85x & 77x

48x, 80x, &  85x REVERSE COMMUTE
77x MID-DAY & REVERSE COMMUTE

From Wednesday, May 20, 2009 through Friday, May 22, 2009 several express routes will detour for Speed Street activities in Uptown Charlotte.

Morning inbound and afternoon outbound (standard commute) trips will not be affected by Speed Street and will continue to operate according to the regular route.

Afternoon inbound (reverse commute) trips will not operate on Trade Street between Church and College.  These routes will make all other regular stops, except for the stops on Trade between Church and College. Route 77x inbound trips will also have this change of service beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Thursday and Friday morning outbound (reverse commute) trips will not operate on Trade Street between College and Poplar.  These routes will make all other regular stops, except for the stops on Trade between College and Poplar.

All buses will be scheduled to leave from the Transportation Center at their regularly scheduled Transportation Center time.

Uptown traffic congestion is expected to be significant during Speed Street activities.
