SPEED STREET 2009

GOLD RUSH RED & ORANGE LINES

From Wednesday, May 20, 2009 through Friday, May 22, 2009 Gold Rush routes will detour for Speed Street activities in Uptown Charlotte.

Red Line
Starting on Wednesday, May 21 after 9:30 a.m. the Red Line will not operate on Trade Street between Church and College.  Eastbound trips will use 3rd Street between Church and College, and westbound trips will use 4th between Caldwell and Poplar.

Orange Line
Starting on Wednesday, May 21 after 9:30 a.m.  the Orange Line will not use Tryon between Stonewall Street and 9th Street.  During midday service (9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.), northbound trips will use College between Morehead and 5th then Caldwell between 5th and 9th. During rush hour service, (6:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.) northbound trips will use College between Morehead and 9th. All southbound trips will use Church between 10th and Stonewall.
