June 1, 2009 Schedule Change

The following are planned service adjustments for CATS services to be implemented on JUNE 1, 2009

1 Mt. Holly - Weekday service to the Paw Creek Shopping Center will be extended via Mt. Holly Road to Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road and will turn around at the WalMart located off of Hwy. 16 and Callabridge Court.  Trips to and from the Paw Creek Shopping Center will operate on Freedom Drive between Toddville Road and Paw Creek Shopping Center.

2 Ashley Park - The late night Saturday trips leaving from Carrowmore at 12:49 a.m. and from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 1:30 a.m. will be discontinued because of low ridership.  Sunday service will be adjusted to operate every 60 minutes.

3 The Plaza - The times for evening Saturday trips after 7:00 p.m. will be adjusted slightly.

4 Country Club - Weekday service will be adjusted to operate every 30 minutes during peak times.  Sunday service will be adjusted to operate every 45 minutes, and the last trip on Sunday will depart from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 11:10 p.m.

6 Kings Drive - Weekday trips later than 12:30 a.m. will be discontinued because of low ridership.  Saturday trips later than 12:55 a.m. will be discontinued because of low ridership.

8 Tuckaseegee Road - Minor time adjustments will take place on weekday morning and afternoon trips.

12 South Boulevard - Weekday morning trip times will be adjusted.  In addition, the last weekday trip at night will stop at the LYNX Blue Line Scaleybark Station at 12:16 a.m.  Morning weekday trips before 8:00 a.m. will terminate at Scaleybark Station and after 8:00 a.m. will extend to Carson Station.  Trip times will be adjusted on Saturday for trips earlier than 8:30 a.m. and for trips later than 5:00 p.m.  Sunday trips will operate every 60 minutes between I-485/South Blvd. Station and Scaleybark Station.

13 Nevin Road - Sunday service will be adjusted to operate every 60 minutes.

15 Randolph Road - Minor trip time adjustments will take place on Saturday.

16 South Tryon - Minor trip time adjustments will take place on Saturday.

18 Selwyn Avenue - Saturday service will be discontinued because of low ridership.  Customers have the option to use route 19 Park Road from SouthPark, and route 6 Kings Drive from Carolinas Medical Center.

19 Park Road - Weekday trip times will be adjusted, and the last weekday outbound trip will depart from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 12:20 a.m.  The Saturday trip currently departing from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 1:30 a.m. will be discontinued because of low ridership.

20 Sharon Road - The last weekday outbound trip will depart from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 6:48 p.m.  Minor trip time adjustments will take place on Saturday.

21 Double Oaks - The last weekday trip will end at the Charlotte Transportation Center at 12:00 a.m.  Saturday service will be adjusted to operate every hour.

22 Graham Street - The first Sunday morning trip will depart from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 7:23 a.m.

23 Shamrock Drive - Minor trip time adjustments will take place on Saturday.

26 Oaklawn Avenue - Saturday trips after 12:35 a.m. will be discontinued because of low ridership.

27 Monroe Road - An extra weekday morning trip will depart inbound from Monroe and Sharon Amity at 5:37 a.m. 

30 Woodlawn/Scaleybark Crosstown -  The weekday trip departing from the Rosa Parks Community Transit Center at 9:29 p.m. will terminate at the LYNX Blue Line Scaleybark Station at 10:12 p.m.  The Saturday trip departing from the Rosa Parks Community Transit Center at 8:30 p.m. will terminate at Scaleybark Station at 9:09 p.m. Other minor trip time adjustments will take place.

39 Eastway - The Saturday trip currently departing from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 1:30 a.m. will be discontinued because of low ridership.

48x Huntersville Express - The trip currently departing from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 2:52 p.m. will be discontinued, and customers are urged to consider using the Route 77x North Meck mid-day service that travels to the Huntersville-Gateway Park and Ride Lot at exit 23.

51x Idlewild Express - Select trips will be discontinued because of low ridership.  The outbound trips leaving from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 6:55 a.m. and 6:21 p.m. will be discontinued because of low ridership, and the inbound trip leaving from Margaret Wallace at 5:40 p.m. will be discontinued because of low ridership.

54x URP Express - The trip leaving from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 6:50 a.m. will be shifted to 6:53 a.m.

55 Westinghouse - Weekday morning trip times will be adjusted.  The first morning weekday trip will depart from the LYNX Blue Line Sharon Road West Station at 6:10 a.m.

56 Arrowood - The last weekday evening trip departing from the LYNX Blue Line Arrowood Station will depart at 1:05 a.m., and the last weekday trip will depart from Rivergate at 12:05 a.m.

57 Archdale/SouthPark - Saturday trips will be extended along Forest Pointe Drive to Arrowood Road, and the last trip currently departing on Saturday from Farmhurst at 8:55 p.m. will be discontinued because of low ridership. Saturday service will be adjusted to operate every hour.

60 Tyvola/SouthPark - Midday service on weekdays will be adjusted to operate every 45 minutes. The last weekday trip will end at 10:15 p.m. at the LYNX Blue Line Tyvola Station.  In addition, Saturday service will be discontinued because of low ridership.

201 Garden City - The Saturday trip currently departing from the Rosa Parks Community Transit Center at 11:35 p.m. will be discontinued because of low ridership.

204 LaSalle - On Saturday, the last trip of the evening will end at 10:15 p.m.  Sunday service will be discontinued because of low ridership

211 Hidden Valley - Sunday service will be adjusted to operate every 30 minutes, and service will terminate on Sundays at the service center near Sugar Creek and North Tryon.

235 Jackson Park - The last weekday trip departing from the Amay James Center will depart at 8:10 p.m.  The last trip departing from Freedom Mall will depart at 8:48 p.m.
