ATTENTION CUSTOMERS

The Charlotte Area Transit Center will hold an open house meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Charlotte Transportation Center.  The meeting will be held from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  CATS representatives will be on hand to talk to you about the June service adjustments.  Major adjustments planned for June include the following:

•    Improved service to Charlotte-Douglas Airport from Uptown Charlotte

•    An extension of Route 1 Mt. Holly to the WalMart near Mt Holly-Huntersville Rd and Hwy. 16

•    Trimming low ridership weekend service by discontinuing Saturday service on routes 18 Selwyn and 60  Tyvola, and discontinuing Route 204 LaSalle on Sunday

•    Changing Route 4 Country Club to operate every 30 minutes during peak times

•    Trimming the 2:52 p.m. trip on Route 48 Huntersville Express in light of the fact that midday service on Route 77X North Meck Express travels to the Huntersville-Gateway Park and Ride lot

•    Other minor trip changes on other routes

Please stop by any time between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to talk to a CATS representative about your bus service.
