Upcoming Route 77x Service Changes

On Monday, March 2, 2009 significant changes will become effective on Route 77x North Meck Express. 

Starting on that date, the Saturday service will be discontinued because of lower ridership.  In addition, the mid-day weekday trips will operate between the Charlotte Transportation Center and Northcross Park & Ride, with stops at Northcross and at the Huntersville Gateway Park & Ride.  Mid-day trips would no longer operate to Northlake Mall and mid-day trips would no longer operate to Davidson or to Cornelius Town Hall.

The morning inbound trips between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. will not sustain significant changes, and will operate almost identically like they do today.  Customers should pick up a new public timetable to find out if there are minor trip adjustments (one or two minutes).

The afternoon outbound trips between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. will not sustain significant changes, and will operate almost identically like they do today.  Customers should pick up a new public timetable to find out if there are minor trip adjustments (one or two minutes).

The last trip in the afternoon will leave from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 7:10 p.m.  Later night trips would no longer operate because of lower ridership.
