Crop Walk

Routes 3, 4, 9, 14, 15, 17, 23, 27 & 39

On Sunday, October 12, 2008, the annual Crop Walk returns uptown at Memorial Stadium. The walk route will start at 2:00 PM on Kings Drive, turn left on 7th Street, right on Davidson St., right on 18th St., right on Pegram St., right on Belmont Ave., left on Seigle Ave., right on 10th St., left on McDowell St., left on 7th St. and returns to Memorial Stadium. The following detours will be in effect:

From Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC): 

Routes 3, 4 & 23
Outbound buses will follow the regular route to Caldwell St., turn left on Caldwell and proceed onto Parkwood Avenue. Route 4 will resume the regular route. Routes 3 & 23 will turn left on Davidson St. and resume the regular routes.

Routes 9, 14, 15, 17, 27 & 39
Outbound buses will turn right on Trade St., proceed onto Elizabeth Ave., turn right on Kings Drive and left on 3rd Street. Route 14 will resume the regular route. All other routes will turn left on Charlottetowne Avenue. Routes 15 &  39 will turn right on 4th Street. Route 15 will resume the regular route. Route 39 will turn left on Hawthorne Avenue and resume the regular route. Routes 9 & 17 will turn left on 7th St., right on Central Avenue and resume the regular routes. Route 27 will turn right on 7th Street and resume the regular route.

To Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC): 

Routes 3, 4 & 23
Inbound buses will follow the regular routes to Parkwood Avenue. Routes 3 & 23 will turn right onto Parkwood Ave. from Davidson Street. Inbound Route 4 will proceed on Parkwood after Pegram Street. All three routes will proceed onto Caldwell St., turn right on 12th St., left on Brevard St., left on 5th St., right on Caldwell St., right on 4th St. and proceed to the CTC.

Routes 9, 17 & 27
Inbound buses will follow the regular routes to Central Ave. and 7th St., turn left on 7th, right on Charlottetowne Avenue and right on 4th Street. Route 17 will resume the regular route. Routes 9 & 27 will turn right on Kings Dr., left on Elizabeth Avenue and proceed to the CTC.

Routes 14, 15 & 39
Inbound buses for Routes 14 & 15 will follow the regular routes to Hawthorne Ave. and 4th Street. Route 39 will proceed on Hawthorne Avenue past Elizabeth Avenue. All routes will turn or proceed on 4th, turn right on Kings Dr., left on Elizabeth Avenue and proceed to the CTC.
