Route 54x

EXISTING ROUTING WILL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

On Monday, October 6, 2008, Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will implement the regularly scheduled October Service Change.  The newly printed October schedule for Route 54x indicates new service times as well as a route adjustment to serve a new park and ride location at Presbyterian Medical Plaza University.  

Service times will operate as indicated on the October schedule. However, at this time CATS  has not received the final permission for our customers to park at this location.  CATS asks customers to NOT park at Presbyterian Medical Plaza University Park until further notice.  The existing Route 54x routing will remain in place.   

CATS is aware that the Mallard Creek Park and Ride lot is at full capacity and we are working very hard to secure additional parking for our customers.  During this time, we appreciate your patience and ask that you continue to use either the Mallard Creek Park and Ride lot or the permitted on-street parking along J.N. Pease Drive.
