CUPID’S CUP 5K RACE

ROUTES 6, 18 & 19

On Saturday, February 14, 2009, the Cupid’s Cup 5K Race will begin at 8:00 AM on East Blvd. in front of Freedom Park and will last until 10:00 AM. The race will proceed west on East Blvd., turn right on Dilworth Rd East., left on Romany Rd., left on Myrtle Ave., right on East Park Ave., left on Euclid Ave., left on East Blvd., and will finish at the CMC Cardiac Rehab parking lot. The following detours will be in effect:

Route 6 from Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC): Outbound buses will follow the regular route to Kings Dr. & Morehead St., turn right on Morehead, left on Kenilworth Ave., left on Pierce St., left on Scott Ave. and resume the regular route.

Route 18 from CTC: Outbound buses will follow the regular route to Morehead St. & Kenilworth Ave., continue on Morehead, turn right on Kings Dr., proceed onto Queens Rd West and resume the regular route.

Route 18 to CTC: Inbound buses will follow the regular route to Queens Rd West and and Kings Dr., continue on Kings, turn left on Morehead St. and resume the regular route.

Route 19 from CTC: Outbound buses will follow the regular route to Tryon & Morehead Streets, continue on Tryon, turn left on Carson Blvd., right on South Blvd., left on East Blvd. and resume the regular route.

Route 19 to CTC: Inbound buses will follow the regular route to East Blvd. and Euclid Ave., continue on East, turn right on South Blvd., left on Stonewall St., right on College St. and resume the regular route.
