Weekend Street Closures

Three street closures will take place the weekend of July 18-21 in the Uptown area. Passengers wishing to board or alight listed bus routes in the affected areas are encouraged to do so at the Charlotte Transportation Center, located at 310 East Trade Street.


ROUTES 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 11, 13, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, 25, 26, 34, 77x & GOLD RUSH RED LINE

East Trade Street Closure

Fri. July 18th 6:00 PM  to  Mon., July 21st 5:00 AM

East Trade Street between South College and South Brevard Streets will close to accommodate the removal of a tower crane from the Ritz Carlton construction site.


ROUTES 2, 18, 40x, 51x, 64x, 65x & 74x

West Stonewall Street Closure

Fri. July 18th 7:00 PM  to  Mon., July 21st NOON

West Stonewall Street between South Church and South College Streets will close to accommodate storm drain construction and delivery of mechanical components to the Wachovia First Street building project.


ROUTES 2, 16, 18 & 19

South Tryon Street Closure

Sat. July 12th 6:00 AM  to  Sun., July 13th NOON

South Tryon Street between Stonewall Street & Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard will close.
