Taste of Charlotte Detours

Routes 41x, 48x, 53x, 54x, 77x, 80x, 82x, 83x, 85x & 88x

Detours Start after 2:00 P.M. on Thursday

Thursday, June 5 detours
On Thursday afternoon, June 5th Trade St. will be blocked at Tryon St., but 4th St. will be open until 6:30 p.m.  Outbound buses will not pick up on Trade between College and Poplar Streets.  People who usually board on Trade between College and Poplar should board these buses at the Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC) or on 4th at Tryon.

After 6:30 p.m. on Thursday 4th St. will be blocked at Tryon, and people should board these buses on 4th at the CTC or on Trade between Church and the Gateway area.

Friday, June 6 detours
On Friday, June 6th, both Trade and 4th Streets will be blocked at Tryon St. in the afternoon.  Afternoon passengers are asked to board on 4th St. at the CTC or on Trade between Graham St. and the Gateway area.  CATS will install a temporary bus stop on 6th St. at the Public Library, and passengers can board at that location as well.

NOTE: On Thursday and Friday routes 41x, 54x, 80x, 82x, 83x, 85x, and 88x will continue to operate the regular part of the route on Church Street near Duke Energy, on Stonewall Street near The Charlotte Observer, and on College Street near Wachovia One.
