Speed Street Detours

Routes 1, 5, 7, 8, 13, 21, 25, 26 & 34

Starting on Wednesday, May 21 at 9:30 a.m. and continuing through Sunday, May 25, the buses on routes 1, 5, 7, 8, 13, 21, 25, 26 and 34 will be on detour because of Speed Street activities. 

During Speed Street 2008, outbound buses on these routes will not operate on Trade Street between College and Poplar Streets.  These buses will use 4th Street between College and Poplar.  Route 25 Clanton Park will use 4th Street all the way between College and Mint Streets.

Inbound buses will also be on detour.  Inbound trips will use 3rd Street instead of Trade between Church and College Streets.

Uptown traffic congestion is expected to be significant during Speed Street activities.
