ROUTE 53x Northlake Express

Vance Davis Drive Closure

Effective Monday, March 24, 2008 Vance Davis Drive at Highway 115 will close at 9:00 a.m. and will remain closed for five weeks due to construction. CATS buses will be unable to service Twin Lakes Parkway and Vance Davis Drive during that period. The following detour will be in effect:

Route 53x A.M. trips from Charlotte Transportation Center:
Outbound buses will use the regular route to Statesville Road and Twin Lakes Parkway, continue on Statesville Road, turn right on Alexanderana Road, right on Old Statesville Road and resume the regular route.

Route 53x P.M. trips from 4th & McDowell Streets:
Inbound buses will use the regular route to Old Statesville Road and Highway 115, continue on Old Statesville Road, turn left on Alexander Road, left on Statesville Road and resume the regular route.

NOTE: Passengers will be able to board & deboard on Old Statesville Rd. at Vance Davis Drive.
