Routes 40x, 41x, 51x, 54x, 64x, 65x, 74x, 77x, 80x, 82x, 83x, 85x, 88x

TEMPORARY DETOUR - REVISED TIME
 
On Monday, December 31, 2007 the Charlotte Department of Transportation in cooperation with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department will close 4th Street between Tryon Street and Poplar starting at 6:30 p.m.  The streets are being closed because of New Year's Eve activities.
 
As a result, the bus stop on 4th at Tryon and the bus stop on 4th at Poplar will be closed at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2007. Both of these bus stops will reopen for express service on Wednesday morning, January 2, 2008.
 
Routes 40X, 64X, 65X, 74X: Customers who usually board on 4th at Tryon are urged to board at the Charlotte Transportation Center or at the usual stops along Church and College Streets.
 
Routes 41X, 51X, 54X, 77X, 80X, 82X, 83X, 85X, 88X: Customers who usually board on 4th Street at Tryon are urged to board at the Charlotte Transportation Center or at the bus shelter on Trade Street at Tryon Street.
 
Buses are expected to operate according to the regular route beginning on Wednesday morning, January 2, 2008.
