Dowd YMCA 5K and Half Marathon
Routes 6, 14, 18, 19, 20 & 236
 
On Saturday, November 3, 2007 the Dowd YMCA 5K and Half Marathon will stage on Caldwell Street by the YMCA at 5:00 AM. The race will begin at 8:00 AM. The route includes Morehead St., Queens Rd., Providence Rd., Fairview Rd., Columbine Cir., Sumac Rd., Colony Rd., Roswell Ave., Queens Rd. East, Dillworth Rd., Mt. Vernon Ave., Lexington Ave., Euclid Ave., and Caldwell Street. The following detours will be in effect:

Inbound to the Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC):

Route 6, 14 & 20
Inbound buses will use the regular route, waiting for breaks if necessary.

Route 18
Inbound buses will follow the regular route to Runnymede Ln. & Selwyn Ave., continue on Runnymede onto Woodlawn Rd., turn right on Park Rd., continue onto Scott Ave., turn left on Romany Rd., right on East Blvd., right on South Blvd., left on Stonewall St., right on College St., and resume the regular route.

Inbound to the CTC (Continued):

Route 19
Inbound buses will follow the regular route to East Blvd. & Euclid Ave., continue on East Blvd., turn right on South Blvd., left on Stonewall St., right on College St., and resume the regular route.

Outbound from the CTC:

Routes 6, 14 & 20
Outbound buses will follow the regular route, waiting for breaks in pedestrian traffic if necessary.

Route 18
Outbound buses will follow the regular route to Stonewall St. & South Blvd. connector, turn right on South, left on East Blvd., and resume the regular route.

Route 19
Outbound buses will follow the regular route to S. Tryon & Morehead Streets, continue on S. Tryon, turn left on Carson Blvd., right on South Blvd., left on East Blvd., and resume the regular route.

Route 232
Buses will follow the regular route, waiting for breaks in pedestrian traffic if necessary.
