EFFECTIVE JANUARY 3-7, 2008

STREET CLOSURE
ROUTES 9, 14, 15, 27 & 39

Effective Thursday, January 3, 2008, the intersection of Kings Dr. & Elizabeth Ave. will close at 9:00 AM and will not reopen until 12:00 noon on Monday, January 7, 2008.  The closure is necessary to install manhole and sanitary sewer lines across Kings Drive.  The following detours will be in effect:

From Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC):

Outbound buses will use the regular route to Trade & McDowell Streets, turn left on McDowell, and right onto 7th Street. Route 27 will resume the regular route. Route 9 will turn left on Central Ave. and resume the regular route. Routes 14, 15 & 39 will turn right on Charlottetowne Ave. and resume the regular route.

To Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC): 

Route 9: Inbound buses will use the regular route to Central Ave. & 7th St., turn right on 7th, left on McDowell St., right on trade St. and resume the regular route.

Routes 14, 15 & 39: Inbound buses will use the regular route to Elizabeth and Charlottetowne Avenues, turn left on Charlottetowne, right on 4th St. and proceed to the CTC.

Route 27: Inbound buses will use the regular route
to 7th St. & Kings Dr., continue on 7th, turn left on McDowell, right on Trade St. and resume the regular route.
