CATS SEEKING COMMUNITY INPUT ON TWO-YEAR BUDGET
Charlotte, N.C., September 19, 2008 - CATS is in the process of establishing its budget for the next two years and we are coming to you for input. Members of the community are encouraged to participate in any of the public meetings listed below to learn more about CATS’ budget process and share transit service ideas for the community.
“We want to have a dialogue with citizens to share CATS’ progress and challenges faced over the past nine years and to ask for the community’s opinion on shaping the future of the transit system,” said Dee Pereira, CATS’ Chief Financial Officer. “At each meeting we will be asking attendees to fill out a survey to help us gauge what service(s) is most important to the community.”
