6/4/08
The CRGPO submitted an RFP for Hot Bulk & Tray Delivered Meals and Shelf Stable Meals with a term of three years and two optional one-year extensions. Menus will rotate through an uninterrupted four-week cycle, except for holiday theme meals and special event meals. The vendor must prepare wholesome and quality food and raw food ingredients in a facility that meets Federal and State food codes. The vendor must follow a delivery schedule and routes. An example for use of this contract is a senior citizens nutrition program.

The CRGPO submitted an ITB for a Multi-Vendor Tire Contract with a one-year term and four subsequent one-year terms. This ITB seeks bids on complete manufacturer lines of new tires, including, but not limited to, Bridgestone, Firestone, General, BF Goodrich, Continental, Goodyear, Pirelli and Michelin. The ITB does not consider retreaded or used tires. The ITB requires tires for a broad variety of vehicles and equipment, including sedans, pickups, police cars, heavy truck, construction equipment, and fire apparatus and light duty industrial vehicles. Each bidder must be an authorized distributor for each manufacturer whose products the bidder will offer. Tire prices are on a percentage discount from the most current published specified manufacturer's government base price lists.

The CRGPO is seeking interest for a data analysis tool called Tableau software. Tableau structures data in a database into a format for visual analysis. The CRGPO submitted an ITB for Tag Readers and is evaluating the responses for a contract. The ITB request is to provide delivery and installation of a mobile license plate reader camera system for a Police Department's patrol vehicles. Low-profile, color infrared cameras will read license plates in moving traffic with forward facing and rear facing cameras, along with a 90° facing camera for parking lots. The cameras link to the patrol vehicle's laptop that matches the picture to NCIC data for stolen or wanted vehicles.
