City Manager Curt Walton and Budget Director Ruffin Hall will present the proposed Budget for FY2009 to City Council.  This presentation will be televised LIVE on The Government Channel, Cable Channel 16.

May 12, 2008 - Public Hearing Scheduled  on Recommended Budget @ 7:00pm
Charlotte City Council will hold a public hearing on the FY2009 budget at 7:00 p.m. The public hearing will be televised LIVE on The Government Channel, Cable Channel 16.

May 14, 2008 - Adjustments to the Recommended Budget @ 3:00pm - 6:00pm
The City Council makes adjustments to the City Manager's recommended budget.  Adjustments that receive 5 or more votes move forward to the May 28th meeting. 

May 28, 2008 - Adjustments and Straw Votes on May 14, 2008 Budget Adjustments @ 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Changes that receive 6 or more votes will be included in the budget ordinance for final vote on June 9th. 

June 9, 2008 - Budget Adoption @ 7:00pm
The City Council adopts the FY2008 Budget. The Budget Adoption will be televised LIVE on The Government Channel, Cable Channel 16.
