2005 Strategic Planning Retreat Agenda
10:00 – 10:10 Manager's Introduction
In this section, County Manager Harry Jones will provide an overview of the agenda and the goals and expectations for the Retreat. The Chairman is asked to recognize Harry L. Jones, Sr., County Manager.
10:10 – 10:30 FY 2005 Program Review Briefing
This section will be a briefing on the results of the 2004 Program Review. The Chairman is asked to recognize Leslie Johnson, Director of Planning and Evaluation.
10:30 – 12:00 Priority Setting FY 2005-2006
In this section, the Board will set the County's FY2005-2006 priorities. These priorities will serve as the basis for the County Manager's FY2006 Recommended Budget. The Chairman is asked to recognize John McGillicuddy, General Manager. This section will be facilitated by Anne Udall, Executive Director of the Lee Institute.
12:00 – 1:00 Lunch
Lunch will be served on site.
1:00 – 3:30 Priority Setting (continued)
This section is a continuation of the Priority Setting process. The Chairman is asked to recognize Anne Udall, Executive Director of the Lee Institute.
3:30 – 4:00 Wrap Up
This section provides the Board and County Manager with an opportunity to provide comments and an assessment of the priority setting process and to discuss next steps. The Chairman is asked to recognize Harry Jones, County Manager.
