Children's Developmental Services serves children under the age of 5. For children birth to 3, Children's Developmental Services provides either directly or through contracts:

• Multidisciplinary evaluations
• Treatment and therapeutic services
• Extensive developmental outpatient services
• Support, education and counseling to families
• Respite care

For children 3 to 5:

• Multidisciplinary evaluations in conjunction with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system.
