The Utilization Management department oversees all state funded clinical services provided by the LME’s contracted providers and conducts preauthorization and concurrent reviews in order to evaluate the consumer’s clinical situation and determine the medical necessity of the requested services.

MeckLINK is the Mecklenburg County Access/Call Center and provides screening, triage and referral services to callers.
