For consumers who do not have Medicaid, limited funding is available from State, County and other resources (IPRS - Integrated Payment and Reimbursement System). Under this system, providers must have a contract with the LME. When the LME determines a gap in services or new services and funding are available, the LME issues a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a Request for Information (RFI). RFP's and RFI's are posted online.
- Requests for an IPRS Contract (Integrated Payment and Reimbursement System)
The LME is not currently contracting with new providers for IPRS funded services. If we have a need at some time in the future, we will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) in order to fill any gaps in service availability. Please look for announcements of RFPs and RFIs. Thank you for your inquiry.
- Requests to Provide a Medicaid Service and Bill through the LME
As a general rule, the LME does not bill for Medicaid services provided by a community provider unless there is a gap in services for a specific service and population. When this occurs, the LME will issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) outlining the specific need and the process for submitting a proposal. RFP's are posted on the LME website and contain all instructions, time-lines and contact information.
- Seeking Endorsement
Providers seeking endorsement must be legally constituted entities capable of meeting all of the requirements of the Standard Agreement and service definitions including accreditation if applicable. Learn more about the endorsement process.
