Grayce Crockett has been the AMH director and CEO since December 2001.
Before joining Area Mental Health, Crockett was vice president/administrator at Presbyterian Healthcare in Charlotte. She served as administrator and chief operating officer at Presbyterian Orthopedic Hospital in Charlotte from July 1996-September 1999.
Before her association with Presbyterian, Crockett was chief operating officer at Davis Medical Center in Statesville in the mid-1990s and was chief executive officer at Holly Hill Mental Health Services in Raleigh during the early to mid-1990s.
