• Mecklenburg County residents only - must have ID or utility bill with current address
• Dogs must be leashed
• Cats must be in carriers

Please bring written proof of prior rabies vaccination.
If written proof is not provided, only a one-year vaccination can be given.

Animal Care & Control responds to hundreds of calls involving wildlife. As Charlotte grows and the wildlife habitat is destroyed, conditions are perfect for more human and wild animal interactions, as well as pet and wild animal interactions. These interactions can lead to the spread of rabies which means all pets must be vaccinated.
