I recently adopted a puppy from Animal Control. I wanted to let you know how wonderful my new son has turned out to be. I adopted him on Saturday, December 15th, but waited to pick him up until Monday, December 17th (my birthday...He is the best birthday present I have ever received) because he needed to get neutered. I was so excited to bring him home that I came back on that Sunday to play with him. He has been such a blessing to my life that I can't thank the animal control department enough for rescuing him (from a construction site, along with his brothers and sisters) and taking such phenomenal care of him while he was with you.

He was the last puppy for adoption in his family and I can't imagine why. He is so loving, warm, and appreciative it is unbelievable! I wake up every morning to a beautifully healthy puppy that I am so excited to see. He makes every day more enjoyable and I am wonderfully surprised at every new behavior he shows. Sufjan is doing great and he loves his new life. He shows me everyday by the wagging of his tail or the kisses I receive. He is perfect!
I wanted to personally thank you for all your help with the adoption of Sufjan. He is about 4 months now and more adorable than ever. The Animal Control department here in Charlotte has done a great job at rescuing and saving so many lives and Sufjan is just one of those success stories.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I want everyone at your department to know that their kindness and hospitality is valued and mainly appreciated. If it weren't for the amazing volunteers Sufjan may not have been able to come home with me. I truly believe that Sufjan was supposed to be my puppy and that I found him for a reason. I owe a lot of that to you and Animal Control for finding, rescuing, and saving his life. Thank you so much! I am also positive that Sufjan feels the same way!
