Dear Dr. Mary, 

My name is Sadie, and I just wanted to say thank you for giving me a home for such a little while.  Before I even knew her, my mom had seen my picture and sad little face on your Web site.  She called everyday to find out when I would be available for adoption, and she was at the shelter first thing in the morning on the day I would be ready.  Mom waited while I had my health check and then waited some more when I had to be treated for lice.  When they finally brought me out to meet her, it was love at first sight!  I was so sad and lonely, because the great people at your office found me all alone in a field when I was just 4 months old.  My mom cuddled on me and petted me all over.  She even introduced me to belly rubs!  Now I can't get enough of them! 

 

After bouts with several problems common to my breed, I'm finally a happy and healthy little girl.  I love playing with my neighbor dogs, stuffed animals and my Kong.  But my favorite thing to do is play with the other puppy that hangs out in the mirrors around my house.  Every time I try to find her, she's there waiting for me!  Sometimes she scares me when she barks at me, but she's my best friend – besides Mom, of course.  Peanut butter is my favorite treat, and my mom gives it to me every time I potty outside or sit when she tells me to.  I'm such a snuggle bug.  I love to curl up next to Mom and just sleep – she says I snore really loud!
